0-Sid Wilson,he is the DJ it has been said that he suffers from 'organic brain syndrome'.He gets in a fight with #6. On the Wait and bleed video,they can be seen brawling.He is the youngest in the band at 23 yrs.Joey describes Sid as a "ladies man".Sid's family is from England. Sid is also the crowdsurfer of the band. Sid has 8-9 different gasmasks. He gives them each names.
1-Joey Jordison,his real name is Nathan Jonas Jordison.He is the lead drummer,he is the shortest person in the band,he was one of the original members of Slipknot,and drummed for MFKR,he was in the band Anal Blast before joining,he created the term 'Maggot',he writes a lot of their songs, including Scissors.He mixed the self titled album.Joey attained the nickname "Superball" after one show that Slipknot played horrible in, so he got mad and started "bouncing around the room".Joey wears an expressionless Japanese Kabuki mask, some blank and some with scars painted across the forehead and mouth. He cuts off the arm and leg sleeves of the Slipknot outfit so he can move more freely while drumming.
2-Paul Grey,he is the bassist,he's co-founder of the group, along with Shawn Crahan(#6).He burned a picture of Korn posing for Calvin Klein in Teen People on- stage.He was one of the original members of Slipknot.He was not born in Des Moines Iowa, like the rest of the band. Paul was born in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Des Moines when he was young.He was in the bands VexX , Body Pit, Anal Blast, and Inveigh Catharsis before Slipknot.Paul has two masks The tight, normal one,and the loose, more pig- oriented one. He says it reflects his indulgent personality.
3-Chris Fhen,he is the co-drummer and first percussionist.He has a habit of "jacking" off his nose. He can be seen doing it in many interviews, the Spit It Out video, and on Conan O'Brien.Rolling Stone describes him as the most "handsome, wholesome" member of the band.Chris wears a Pinnochio- like mask with a 7 1/2 inch nose and a zipper for a mouth.
4-James Root,he plays Guitar for the band.He was the last to Join Slipknot.At 6'6, "Jim" is taller than Mick Thompson at 6'2 who is believed to be the tallest of the band.James's real hair color is brown.He is more oftenly called Jim.When he first joined the band his mask was a bondage hood,now he has a new mask,it has a zipper for a mouth,diamonds around the eyes and a very satanic look to it.
5-Craig Jones,he is the sampler the sampler.He is married.He's the brains behind the opening track from Slipknot's album,742617000027.He originally joined the band as a guitarist.Him and his wife run the website www.Slipknot1.com.He maintains the official site.He is a computer game freak.At photo shoots, he wears leather covering his eyes from being seen, and prefers not to take part in any interviews, to remain anonymous.He gets most of his samples from movies. For example, in (sic), he got the "here comes the pain" part from the movie Carlito's Way.His old mask was a diving helmet with nine inch nails on it,his new one is more like a skee mask with a zipper for a mouth and he still has the nails.
6-Shawn Crahan,he is the second percussionist,along with Chris Fhen.He was a welder before joining the group, and he welded his own drums.He has a wife,Chantal,and 3 kids.He is co-founder of the group,along with Paul Grey.His drumkit is made of titanium.He does most of the interviews.He has a habit of banging his head against walls.He has fractured knuckles,split a collarbone, suffered slipped vertebrae, bruised his pelvic bone,dislocated a shoulder,gotten a concussion, partially severed a finger,and smashed his head often enough to require 22 stitches during performances.Sometimes he goes on AIM and chats with fans.From what I hear, he is by far the craziest member of Slipknot.He named his mask "Dude".He is 32 years old,the oldest of Slipknot.His old mask was a less satanic clown his new one is by far the most satanic mask in the band,it has 2 horns and the top of his head is cut open so blood can run down. 
7-Mick Thompson,he is the second Guitarist, along with James Root.He is a "night person".He's a fan of serial killers, and loves cats.His previous job was teaching guitar lessons, which he still does to this day.Before Slipknot wore coveralls, Mick dressed up as Little Bo Peep.Micks mask is a metal version of a hockey mask,but his nose pokes out of the middle.
8-Corey Taylor,He's the lead singer.He prefers the nickname"Faith".He is loud as shit onstage, but offstage he's very calm and down to earth.Before Slipknot wore coveralls,Corey dressed in a priest outfit.He was in the band Stone Sour before Slipknot.Coreys mask is a crash test dummie mask with dreads,the dreads are made of twine and partly his own hair.
